The earth shook violently. The six mountains outside Bakharu swayed, and a mushroom cloud rose from the city gate, reaching the sky above the peaks in the blink of an eye.

The shock wave from the explosion swept across most of the city, causing countless Barbarian casualties.

A few seconds later, the smoke and dust dispersed.

When the people on the bridge saw the effect of the cannon blast, they all gasped.

Bakharu's city walls had completely collapsed. Buildings within a kilometer had fallen outward in a radial pattern, with the destruction growing worse the closer they were to the center. The defensive fortifications outside the city had also been almost entirely destroyed. The city gate at the center of the explosion had vanished outright, leaving a hundred-meter-wide crater in the ground.

A massive Green Dragon lay in the depths of the crater. All its scales had been blasted away, and dragon blood flowed out to pool beneath it. It was clearly gravely wounded.

"That isn't Deep Azure!" Marius said in a deep voice.

Everyone had noticed it as well.

Although the Green Dragon lying in the crater was astonishingly large, over seventy meters long and likely an Ancient Green Dragon, the King of Green Dragons was longer and larger. When it had crawled out of the ground just now, half of its body alone had nearly reached a hundred meters. The features of the crown of horns on its head also differed greatly from those of the Green Dragon underground.

"Where did this Green Dragon come from?" Kastaggin asked involuntarily.

Rayne replied calmly, "It's Agnes, the High Priest of the Mataki Tribe, and Deep Azure's daughter. Her father used her as a shield."
