Rayne took Elotisia through Teleportation Spell, making three transfers before arriving at Maringer Manor, located in Northril's western suburbs.
Viola was not home, and Rayne did not alert anyone in the manor. He immediately teleported away.
The next second, they arrived high in the sky.
"We're here."
Rayne pointed at the endless buildings and streets below, then turned and said, "Elotisia, this is Northril."
"What a huge city!" Elotisia exclaimed.
She had spent the past half month in Gotham City. Although Gotham had more than 1.5 million permanent residents and was one of the largest cities in the world, it still fell far short of Northril. Its urban area was only a third the size of the imperial capital.
This was where her teacher had once lived for several centuries.
It was also where the headquarters of the Church of Justice stood!
Elotisia stared at Northril without blinking and quickly recognized several landmark buildings—Fubeihe Castle, He Palace, the Temple of Truth, and others. One by one, they matched the descriptions her teacher had given her. They were both familiar and strange. She had seen this city countless times in her dreams, and now she had finally arrived!
"Is that the Nether Floating City?" She spotted the enormous object in the distant sky.
Rayne nodded. "Yes."
"So big!"
Elotisia exclaimed again.
This was her first time seeing a genuine Floating City. It was dozens of times larger than Rayne's Star Destroyer. Even from such a great distance, it inspired an overwhelming sense of awe.
Finally, Elotisia's gaze fell upon a majestic and imposing building.
It was a temple. A huge statue stood in the square before it. Cast entirely from gold, it took the form of a set of scales. A sword served as the central support, its tip pointing downward
