In the wilderness, a graveyard, a pitch-black night. In an environment filled with buffs, nothing can boost human morale more than a blazing campfire.
The campfire even has a nickname: "Wilderness TV." Just watching the flickering flames and listening to the crackling of branches being roasted can soothe an anxious heart to a certain extent.
If there were a dedicated campfire camping skill, players could even gather together to recover some SAN points or something.
After the Red Demon was killed, the current area entered a relatively safe state. The only enemies were some Red-Eyed Crows that dared not approach. New enemies would only be encountered after crossing the river.
Before long, guided by the campfire, two college students who had gone out to scavenge for food returned safely, their backpacks and briefcases bulging.
Besides food, mainly snacks, they also brought back tissues, wet wipes, lighters, nail clippers, and even individually packaged condoms and sanitary pads.
Nowadays, information spreads very widely. The popularity of mobile phones and the internet has allowed many people to access all sorts of information.
They had both seen short videos explaining little tips like using napkins as insoles for shoes, or how a good quality condom could hold 1.5 liters of water.
When they saw the campfire Cheng Tian had made and him boiling water with a helmet, their faces, which had been showing some moral guilt from looting bodies, quickly turned to surprise.
They had found plenty of food, but they hadn't found any bottled water at all.
Without food, a person could survive for about a week by consuming their own fat and muscle.
Without water, a person would be gone in three days.
Soon, like in Minecraft, eating sound effects erupted around the campfire. Nut, Banana Slice, Crispy Shark – they were stuffed into Cheng Tian's mouth in a variety of ways.
With a feast in his mouth, Cheng Tian drank water directly from the helmet. The two college students used emptied foundation boxes and business card holders as temporary water containers, carefully sipping the still-hot river water.
He didn't know if the 5% permanent Flame Resistance also applied to hot water, but Cheng Tian didn't feel the helmet or the hot water were that hot. He quickly finished it and immediately refilled the helmet to boil more water.
Modern people play on their phones while eating, and Cheng Tian and the others were no exception. However, at this moment, they were all fiddling with their personal panels instead of discussing the situation face-to-face.
This scene was very modern Chinese style. If elders saw it, they would definitely scold them.
Of course, Cheng Tian and the others weren't playing around; there were too many things they needed to figure out.
Many options on the personal panel could be clicked to view detailed information.
Cheng Tian had already looked at the Strength entry in the attribute panel before, so he now clicked on the other attributes one by one.
[Agility -- Corresponds to attack speed, movement speed, dynamic vision, reaction time, and other related data.]
[Spirit -- Corresponds to magic attack, max MP, mana recovery efficiency, magic resistance, and other related data. Current Spirit to MP ratio is 1:10.]
[Charisma -- Corresponds to NPC personal and faction initial reputation values, reputation acquisition efficiency, neutral creature first impression, summon control, communication and persuasion probability, etc.]
The aspects corresponding to Agility and Spirit were within Cheng Tian's expectations as a Daoslin. Strength, Agility, and Spirit might correspond to the three development paths for Chosen Players, as average stat distribution would either lead to mediocrity or mediocrity.
The Charisma attribute was indeed a bit special. It was clearly aimed at those Chosen Players who focused on dungeon exploration, deep story dives, and summoner-type gameplay.
Cheng Tian knew very well that while his appearance had no obvious strengths or weaknesses, he was clearly not the type to be popular. In fact, many people instinctively felt a sense of fear when they first saw him, so it was normal for his initial stats to be on the low side.
As fate would have it, Cheng Tian's first official skill was related to charm and summoning.
Unable to think of anything for the moment, Cheng Tian closed the attribute description and clicked on the achievement panel instead.
The completed First Kill of Red Demon achievement was already prominently displayed at the top. Below it was a list of achievements, some with conditions already shown, and others still hidden behind question marks.

Achievements were divided into general achievements that could be completed across dungeons and exclusive achievements that could only be completed within that specific dungeon.
Currently, Cheng Tian could only see achievements for which some conditions had been met and which were theoretically completable. These achievements did not provide any information about corresponding rewards.
Setting aside the exclusive achievements of Demon World Village for now, many veteran players had surely already completed some of the general achievements that could be done across dungeons. He should be able to gather relevant information later.
If each achievement corresponded to a title, and only one title could be worn at a time, there might be something more special to consider here.
"Burp!!!"
Having stuffed himself with plenty of high-calorie snacks and also drunk his fill, Cheng Tian let out a loud burp. He then reluctantly put his phone back into his underwear pocket, adjusting it with his hand, fine-tuning the Gun Cannon Trajectory.
Only then did he slowly put all the knight armor pieces, including the now-dried helmet, back into the same inventory slot. He himself remained in his state of wearing only Underpants Slippers.
There were clearly many more places to explore in the Chosen Space, and to continue exploring, it was crucial to find a way to defeat the Cyclops and leave Demon World Village alive.
Seeing Cheng Tian's actions, the two college students, who had eaten significantly less than him, immediately stood up and dusted themselves off. The mood, which had been somewhat calmed by the campfire and the meal, began to stir again.
"Don't hold back on the food and drinks. The next part should be like Little Frog Crossing River, requiring a running jump. I suggest you leave any unnecessary items here."
Cheng Tian pointed at the Magic Moving Platform moving back and forth on the river surface not far away.
So, it was time for a jumping puzzle.
