Sure enough, Root of Mars had conditions immediately after declaring surrender.

Cheng Tian looked noncommittal.

"There are two conditions."

Root of Mars said this while still transformed into a Super Mushroom.

"First, if you want to become the new ruler of us Martians, you need to help eliminate the hidden threat to our race. That is, you need to help us remove the threat the Venusians pose to us."

"Second... you need to use your miraculous abilities to help our entire Martian race explore an entirely new method of reproduction."

Cheng Tian could understand the matter of eliminating the Venusians. He had occupied their home and wanted them to work for him; at the very least, he had to offer some promises.

But helping the Martians explore a new method of reproduction... What, were they really planning to head in the direction of mating organisms?

From the standpoint of reproduction alone, the Martians' fungal-fluid reproduction and spore proliferation methods were far more efficient than carbon-based intelligent species like humans, who had to go through the hassle of mating, maternal gestation, childbirth, and a whole series of other processes.
