Eternal Frost lay on the New Continent as well, but it was separated from the region where Star Stronghold stood by an entire sea. More precisely, if one traveled northwest from the waters where the Lava Dragon had made landfall, one would reach the far side of the New Continent, where the temperature changed abruptly.
With the Elder Dragon's Land as its center, the surrounding regions radiating outward each had their own bizarre ecosystems, environments, native creatures, and considerable temperature differences. Still, they could more or less be classified as temperate, subtropical, or tropical climates.
However, the region the Guild had named Eternal Frost was located in a thoroughly frigid zone, comparable even to the Arctic Circle.
It was blanketed in snow year-round, swept by biting winds, with an average temperature of around minus forty degrees Celsius. Yet the actual felt temperature was clearly harsher still, making it an extremely unfriendly region for hunters, mages, and the Player Community alike.
