If the Void Garage's upgrade had merely consolidated many of Cheng Tian's items, abilities, and equipment, that was at least somewhat foreseeable. But this breakthrough of his charisma cap had completely caught Cheng Tian off guard.
As a player who had already pushed Strength, Agility, and Spirit to their limit breakthroughs, it was impossible for Cheng Tian to say he did not care about Charisma at all.
It was just that special quests like limit breakthroughs could not be triggered simply because one wanted them, and Charisma itself was a rather unusual attribute.
Strength and Agility involved physical training. As long as one was willing to suffer and train, and built relationships with powerful fighters and warriors in various dungeons, the chances of triggering them were not too low.
Spirit was much the same. If one had no particularly good route, they could seek out other spellcaster NPCs on the same wavelength and meditate to hone their spirit. Compared to physical training, spiritual matters were even more mysterious. One might struggle through dozens of main-story dungeons without coming anywhere close to a breakthrough, or one sudden flash of insight might trigger it on the spot. It was truly maddening.
But compared to those, Charisma was far more elusive.
Besides affecting social expansion, reputation growth speed, and one's ability to uncover storylines, the Charisma attribute was also connected to the number and caliber of summons one could control.
And when a player went from being a lone wolf to becoming the manager of a team, Charisma, to a certain extent, became linked to "command ability."
Judging from the conditions of his current breakthrough quest, it was clearly tied to the command ability derived from Charisma. Perhaps because his overall strength now far exceeded what it had been when he broke through
