Quite a few people had probably been like Cheng Tian back then, mistakenly believing Storm Warrior Ogan and Tekkaman Blade came from the same series because they had played Super Robot Wars W.
Some might even have gone back to watch the shows because of Super Robot Wars W, only to find no figure named "Ogan," whose appearance closely resembled a Tekkaman, in Space Knight.
In truth, Ogan was obviously a Tekkaman-type unit from another work called Storm Warrior Ogan. In terms of release dates, Storm Warrior had actually come out a year before Space Knight.
And just as the players had seen, the two sides were indeed highly interconnected in their settings.
As early as 1975, there had been an anime called Space Knight Iron Man, which had inspired Storm Warrior, while many of its internal settings had been directly carried over into Space Knight.
For instance, "Iron Man" was pronounced "Tekkaman"; the double-headed spear used by Tekkaman; White Base, which could serve as a mount—all of them had been carried into Space Knight.
As for the mechanical designs, Storm Warrior and Space Knight resembled each other so closely that they could practically be considered identical.
Both wore fitted full-body armor, both favored dual blades, both had towering shoulder plates, helmet antennas, and V-shaped faceplates. Whether in their original high-definition designs or condensed into chibi pixel sprites, they looked ridiculously alike. No wonder the players had been misled.
However, while their mechanical designs were virtually identical, there was one fundamental difference.
Tekkaman was the ultimate application of biological modification and matter-antimatter particles, while Storm Warrior Ogan was pure Mechanical Ascension.
According to Cheng Tian's Dominator Radar, the Ogan before him was a humanoid mechanical entity. Yet Cheng Tian could also sense that the soul preserved within him was a
