Cheng Tian headed into the Eternal Frost to hunt Beiye, who had been kept hungry by the players’ interference. He found Beiye pursuing an Icefang Dragon alongside a starving Golden Lion, and the three beasts were trapped together as they eyed one another as prey.

• Players kept Beiye from eating for eighteen hours by contaminating his prey and driving him away from hunts.
• Cheng Tian decided Beiye was near his limit and set out to hunt him, bringing Eileen along to help locate him.
• Cheng Tian and Eileen landed in the Icefish Dragon’s former territory and flew toward the Frost Cave and Icefang Dragon nesting area.
• Cheng Tian saw the Icefang Dragon flee the Frost Cave with the Golden Lion charging after it.
• Beiye leaped out, cast Maelstrom to block the exits, and stared hungrily at the Icefang Dragon and Golden Lion, who were also starving.

Cheng Tian fought World-Ender Nergigante while using blood-draining attacks to heal and endure its rising strength. With his Behemoth transformation nearly over and his energy conditions met, he activated The World and stopped time, then began unleashing his finishing move.

• Cheng Tian pierced Nergigante's wing with Roar of the Earth, but the monster's wounds began healing as its power increased.
• Cheng Tian realized he could not wear Nergigante down safely, so he dodged and traded blows while draining its blood to recover.

Cheng Tian defeated World-Ender Nergigante during time stop and broke through the caps on Strength and Agility. As he stood exhausted beside the fallen monster, Gouki appeared through Asura Senku while the Hunters watched the battle’s projection.

• Gouki recognized Cheng Tian’s time-stopped attacks as converging with One! Instant! Thousand! Strikes! and reflected that their paths might lead to the same destination.
