Kakashi pulled out an iron chain and lashed it around a broken wall nearby, letting himself be yanked into the air.

So that's how it is. This guy's ability is... Damn it! I have no chance against him alone. I need to call for reinforcements and tell them about his ability... until my body reaches its limit... Kakashi analyzed as he held on. But as Deva Path Pain's Banshō Ten'in intensified, Kakashi could no longer hold the chain securely.

The next moment, Kakashi's hand slipped from the chain, and he flew uncontrollably toward Deva Path Pain. A black rod extended from Deva Path Pain's sleeve and stabbed at the approaching Kakashi. With no way to evade, Kakashi was pierced through—but in the next second, his body transformed into a mass of lightning that enveloped Deva Path Pain.

"Lightning Release Shadow Clone..." Deva Path Pain was wrapped in electricity, the numbing sensation slowing his movements considerably. Then came a thunderous BOOM! as a massive fist descended from above and smashed into him.

"That should have taken one of them out, right?! Right, Kakashi?" The enormous fist shrank, revealing Choza Akimichi on the battlefield. The support team had arrived! Seeing Deva Path Pain crushed beneath the fist, Choza's expression relaxed somewhat.

Kakashi pushed aside a wooden board, Lightning Cutter crackling in one hand. "I had preparations on my side too, but saving Chakra is a huge help." As he spoke, he dispersed the Lightning Cutter and climbed out of the rubble.

"You all right?" Choza asked with concern, staring at Deva Path Pain lying on the ground.

"More or less." Kakashi walked over to Choza, his expression grave as he watched Deva Path Pain slowly rise to his feet.

After dusting himself off, Deva Path Pain looked at Kakashi and said, "Interesting.
