Kakashi's Desperate Fight

Deva Path Pain walked calmly through the thick fog, as leisurely as if he were strolling through his own backyard.

Suddenly, the soil beneath his feet loosened. Kakashi sprang out from underground with a kunai in hand, aiming straight for Deva Path Pain's eye. The next instant, Kakashi was blasted away without warning!

"Your movements are excellent, and your ninjutsu are quite varied. Someone like you will become troublesome if not killed early." Deva Path Pain walked up to Kakashi as Black Rods extended from his sleeves. Just as Kakashi was about to be killed, two enormous balls of flesh rolled in. "Double Human Bullet Tank!"

With a deafening boom, two massive mountains of flesh crashed together, trapping Deva Path Pain between them.

"Too slow!" Deva Path Pain said, crossing his hands and pressing his palms against the two spinning balls of flesh. Then, Shinra Tensei activated! Choza Akimichi and Choji Akimichi were blasted away without surprise. Yet both of them were gripping iron chains. The instant they were flung back, the chains tightened and bound Deva Path Pain.

"Kakashi Hatake, you had already buried these chains underground before launching your attack from below?" Deva Path Pain lowered his head to glance at the chains around him and asked calmly.

Kakashi answered with a bolt of lightning. He thrust toward Deva Path Pain with one hand while activating his ninjutsu, Lightning Cutter!

"Go, Kakashi-sensei!" Choji shouted as he desperately pulled on the chain.

"Kill him, Kakashi!" Choza also strained against the chain, urging him on.

"Shinra Tensei!" Deva Path Pain remained extraordinarily calm, decisively activating Shinra Tensei at the critical moment. This time, Deva Path Pain used tremendous force. Following a muffled boom, the entire area of ruins was flattened.
