Two Disciples

Through Sage Mode's perception, Naruto quickly found Nagato's hiding place—the large tree disguised by Konan's jutsu.

Pushing aside a layer of paper, Naruto slipped straight inside. Tsukikyuu Shang Mei immediately jumped in front of Nagato, watching Naruto warily, while Konan moved to Nagato's side.

"Stand down, Shang Mei," Nagato said calmly.

"Leader..." Tsukikyuu Shang Mei turned back to look at Nagato, somewhat hesitant.

"Stand down!" Nagato emphasized again. Tsukikyuu Shang Mei scratched her head and reluctantly stepped aside.

Naruto walked closer and looked at Nagato's unusual appearance. "Are you Pain's main body?"

Nagato straightened his back with some difficulty and looked at Naruto. "Peace has arrived without the slightest shame! Do you hate me? Your enemy is right before your eyes. You want revenge, don't you?!"

As Naruto looked at Nagato, images of Jiraiya and Kakashi kept flashing through his mind, while Deva Path Pain's words continued to echo in his head. Konan looked at Naruto and said coolly, "Kill Nagato here and complete your revenge. It won't change anything in the world. It would merely satisfy yourself."

Nagato looked at Naruto, whose fists were clenched but who could not make a decision, and continued provoking him. "You, who cannot give any answer, can accomplish nothing. Your mission is to sacrifice yourself for the peace I created! That is the correct answer." As soon as he finished speaking, Nagato controlled a concealed weapon and sent it flying toward Naruto.

For some reason, Naruto did not dodge and allowed the concealed weapon to strike him in the chest.

"At this distance, my Chakra can control your movements however I wish. Don't worry, I avoided your vital points. After all, you are an important Jinchuriki." As soon as Nagato finished speaking, he sensed the brutal, cruel Chakra of the Nine-Tails within Naruto.
