"Sage Art: Super Great Ball Rasengan!" Naruto slammed the massive sphere into Madara Uchiha. With a deafening boom, the shockwave blasted the surrounding shinobi away. The earth pillar that Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki had raised also shattered, its upper half turning into dust that filled the sky.

But to Naruto's surprise, his Super Great Ball Rasengan had not struck Madara Uchiha. It was blocked by a blue Chakra skeleton manifested around him. Then a massive fist came crashing down, sending Naruto flying. Fortunately, Gaara reacted quickly as well, controlling two Sand Hands to shield Naruto.

"That is... Susanoo?" Ōnoki stared at Madara Uchiha's eyes, his expression grave. "As expected, they've become Mangekyō Sharingan."

The Allied Shinobi Forces surrounded Madara Uchiha once again. This time, because Madara's Susanoo was so enormous, it became an easy target and was bombarded by every kind of ninjutsu. But Susanoo's defenses were not something ordinary ninjutsu could break through, so Madara ignored the shinobi's attacks entirely. He conjured two tachi in Susanoo's hands and swung them around like he was playing whack-a-mole, sweeping and smashing in every direction. In an instant, the shinobi were sent sprawling.

At the critical moment, Gaara acted again. He controlled sand that climbed onto Susanoo, apparently intending to bind and crush the giant.

Madara sneered and controlled Susanoo to raise a hand, effortlessly breaking free from the sand's restraints. Then another pair of arms grew from Madara's Susanoo, turning it from two-armed to four-armed. Each of those four arms gripped a tachi. Madara Uchiha slammed them toward the ground, unleashing four towering waves of sword energy that surged in four directions.

After evading the four terrifying slashes, Naruto held a Wind Style: Rasenshuriken in one hand and shouted to the crowd, "Everyone, stand back!"
