What It Means to Be Hokage

Naruto and Sasuke joined forces. Susanoo covered Kurama, entering Kurama Mode Susanoo. Through their seamless cooperation, Kurama Mode Susanoo drew its blade and thrust it at Obito.

Obito held the Swamp Spear and met it head-on! This was the weapon the Sage of Six Paths had used to create the world. He had absolute confidence in it.

Yet reality left him sorely disappointed. The Swamp Spear was actually losing in its clash with the Armored Susanoo Blade. What shocked him even more was that as Naruto unleashed his power, the Armored Susanoo Blade pushed the Swamp Spear forward, shattering it inch by inch! At the same time, all sorts of scenes suddenly surfaced in Obito's mind: scenes of him being popular in Konoha, scenes of him fooling around with Kakashi, and finally, himself wearing the Hokage hat and becoming Hokage.

"Why are these scenes appearing in my mind? Was it you, Akira Kurama?" By the time Obito came back to his senses, Naruto and Sasuke had already swung the Armored Susanoo Blade across his waist, nearly cutting him in half.

"This has nothing to do with me. Those are your purest longings. You still wanted to become Hokage? You've really got some nerve! Couldn't you just be a proper villain?" Ming Jing replied with disdain. Obito froze. He did not think Ming Jing would deceive him, because there was no need to.

But Obito soon had no time to dwell on it, because he discovered that the Tailed Beast Chakra inside him was out of control again. Before he could react, the Tailed Beasts burst out of his body one after another.

"What's going on?" Naruto turned around, watching the Tailed Beasts struggle to emerge, and asked in confusion.

"The Chakra you received from the Tailed Beasts resonated with them.
