This wasteland was not too far from the coastline, only a few thousand kilometers away. Yet every ninja stared at the unbelievable sight before them: an immense white tiger claw descended from the sky, gouging a bottomless, endless crater into the ground. Seawater then came rushing into it.
Listening to the roar of water, Akamaru lowered his head and whimpered. Kiba swallowed nervously and asked, "Th-this was caused by Naruto and the others?"
"This isn't the power of a human at all." Shino adjusted his sunglasses, his voice trembling slightly. One strike from that claw would kill anything, insects included.
"It was like moving the ocean over here. Terrifying!" Choji plopped down on the ground and said blankly.
Shikamaru came back to his senses and smiled. "In that case, we should be able to win."
"Huh?! Aren't you worried that this might be Madara's jutsu?" Ino asked, looking at Shikamaru.
Shikamaru spread his hands with a shameless look. "If it's Madara, then we're doomed anyway. We might as well think positively."
"You really are..." Ino sighed, not knowing what to say about Shikamaru.
"This isn't Madara's jutsu." Neji activated his Byakugan and stared into the crater. "The one who got slapped down there is Madara."
"What happened to Madara? He should be dead after getting hit by such a huge claw, right?" Shikouin asked excitedly.
"I can't see clearly." Neji shook his head. "The crater is filled with all kinds of unknown energy. I have no idea what it is."
Shikouin stared at the crater slowly filling with seawater. Her eyes suddenly lit up as she looked at Neji. "Then if we go down and finish him off now, can we kill Madara?"
