The Second Hokage's expression tightened. Though Ming Jing appeared amiable, his wording made it clear that he had already made up his mind. Before he could speak, the First Hokage spoke first. "The few of us are already dead. You don't need to discuss the affairs of the living with us dead men."
"Brother." The Second Hokage frowned slightly.
"Hiden," the First Hokage said calmly as he looked at his younger brother. "Our era has already passed."
"You're the older brother, so you have the final say." Second turned his head away, too lazy to argue with his brother. More importantly, he felt that his idiot brother actually had a point.
"I agree with my teacher," Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi said seriously as he looked at Ming Jing. "But I still want to offer one warning: think twice before acting, or you will bear even greater burdens. This is an old man's reminder to the younger generation. Whether you listen is up to you."
