Final Thoughts

As I wrote the three words "The End," it felt as though a thousand-pound burden had been lifted from my shoulders, and I felt much lighter.

As early as the beginning of the year, I said in the group that I would finish the book during the World Cup.

So bringing this story to an end here was not exactly rushed. Although I left behind many regrets and still had some loose ends unresolved, all I could do here was apologize to everyone.

Because of changes in my family circumstances, writing this book had been quite difficult, and there was a period when I had no time to write at all.

So being able to finish it smoothly without leaving it unfinished or abandoning it was already enough to satisfy me.

Let me report on its performance. The book's average subscriptions once reached over 4,200, but then they kept declining. Last October, because I had to arrange intervention for and spend time with Doudou, I could only write at night each day. Time was truly limited, and after I was forced to slow down updates, the numbers kept falling, until they reached around 3,300 average subscriptions now.

Thankfully, it did not fall below the 3,000-average-subscription threshold for premium status. I barely managed to keep my pants on, I suppose. (laugh-cry)
