The Humiliating Retreat
White flashes caused by spatial dimensional reactions as ships dropped out of hyperspace kept flickering. One vessel after another emerged from hyperspace and arrived here.
These ships had not jumped in together, but had arrived one after another.
Hiigaran-class battlecruisers, Generous-class frigates, Javelin-class missile frigates, Revelation-class light cruisers... there was even a Luukri-Hok-class battleship!
Unlike the battered Republic warships, these vessels also bore plenty of damage, but they had clearly been repaired and treated by drones. They were in far better condition.
