The Day of Decisive Battle (II)
Shen Yuanhao stood at the front of the formation, watching the Indjori scramble aboard the Corsev Battlecruisers. The scene was a complete mess. Curses and roars rang out endlessly, and quite a few Indjori, jostled by bumps and collisions, looked ready to start fighting on the spot. Arguments were tolerated, but every Indjori who tried to throw a punch was dragged out one by one by the group of Indjori whose skin scales were completely black, then tossed aside and beaten without a word.
Even the Indjori soldiers sent out to fight were utterly helpless before these special Indjori, whose scales were so black they seemed almost green.
Using the Umbrella Pharmaceutical Group's latest biotechnology, combined with the control of Nemesis-β parasites, they had been turned into the most terrifying killing machines. They were also the most perfect solution between naturally grown Indjori and the fully biological weapons known as Indjori Vengeance.
But the old problem remained—expense.
Yet the Indjori were highly accepting of this kind of biological weapon. Even if you resurrected an Indjori's father with the T-Virus and turned him into an Indjori Vengeance, that Indjori would only be happy—because you had allowed his father to return to the battlefield and fight again.
To the Indjori, being able to fight was more important than anything else! Battle was above all!
That was why they could so readily accept the Indjori Vengeance and these black Indjori soldiers.
Shen Yuanhao glanced at Karina standing behind him. He understood that the Indjori were more accepting of the Indjori Vengeance than they were of Karina.
Within the battle-worshipping Indjori social order, women held an extremely low status. Their only purpose was childbirth, or being used to win over outsiders whom the Indjori Elder Council considered valuable.
