The fierce firefight here was still ongoing. The Salarian special forces were utterly elusive, moving through Tipoca City's maze-like massive complex as if they were fish in water—and that was literal, because whenever things went wrong, they could jump into the sea to evade pursuit.
As amphibious beings, the evolved Salarians could not be said to be completely safe in the rough ocean, but there were still large numbers of A-Q underwater combat droids and Trident-class amphibious assault ships providing cover beneath the waves.
In fact, the situation on Kamino was now one where the Galactic Republic firmly held air superiority while the Confederacy of Independent Systems firmly controlled the sea. Both sides relied on their respective advantages to fight fiercely among the structures rising from the ocean.
The reinforcements brought by Jedi Master Ploo Koon were few.
