An incredibly brilliant flash lit up—it was the Kohl-class Battlecruiser's Hypermatter Railgun firing. As the 50-meter-caliber Hypermatter Railgun discharged, another Galactic Republic Hunter Class Battlecruiser suffered a devastating hit. Its shields flickered once before finally shattering.
Immediately afterward, dozens of Javelin-class missile frigates thousands of kilometers away unleashed a barrage of missiles at the Hunter Class ship!
Hundreds of missiles streaked forward. The Republic fighter formations immediately split off a portion and flew into the missile storm, their mounted blaster cannons firing wildly and shooting down missile after missile.
Once the missiles entered effective range, the Hunter Class's point-defense guns also opened fire madly. Countless lasers and blaster bolts formed a web of light around the warship, detonating the incoming missiles into fireballs in midair.
