A Desperate Attempt (Part 1)
"Between the Three-Body hulls..." Gayett tapped a few times on the computer beside him, projecting an exterior schematic of the Xuanwu Titan warship.
Dover pointed to the inner side of the warship's central hull. "I observed it during their last sortie. The Xuanwu has two Hangar Platforms, both located low on the inner side of the central hull. This ship doesn't carry many fighters, so these Hangar Platforms should also serve as access points. Then..."
She tapped the projection several times, marking out a few figures. "The gaps between the central hull and the hulls on either side are roughly a thousand meters wide. Basically, no one but Jedi Knights can make full use of that space. Even when fighters take off or land on the Xuanwu, they first descend out of the ship's hull range before accelerating... So there are no point-defense guns there, and the shields show no response at all."
Gayett frowned. "There are no shields there because the Xuanwu's shields envelop the entire ship. I observed it too. The interval between the Xuanwu's shield-cycle restarts is about ten minutes. Only ten min—"
"Once we go in, we won't need to come back out." Dover cut him off directly. Her gaze was calm as she looked at Gayett.
Gayett glanced at her, then nodded heavily without a word. His actions gave his answer—he turned and leaped into an ARC-170 fighter behind him.
With the Xuanwu constantly activating its Interference Matrix, only a heavy fighter like the ARC-170 could resist it for even a little longer.
It was precisely because of the Interference Matrix that small warships and fighters could not use their agility to keep circling the Xuanwu, waiting for an opportunity to attack its weak points—after all, nothing was truly without
