One of the Core Five who had originally opposed the idea nodded and said, "In that case, I will provisionally agree to let the Fourth Group attend this summit as one of the participants."

Then Co-Chairman San Hill spoke. "At present, if the election for the InterGalactic Banking Clan's next Co-Chairman proceeds normally, there is no doubt that we will lose. The new Co-Chairman will be Rush Clovis."
"There's really nothing we can do about the votes anymore? I think we can buy some of them," Core Five Number Three said. "Quite a few people are under my control. Once the election begins, I can ensure their votes go to you."
"The problem now is that, in the Galactic Senate, Speaker Sheev Palpatine has persuaded most of the senators to support Scipio's Human faction. You should know that many of these senators are aristocrats from prominent Core Worlds families, and they are also our largest customer base.
