The new Core Five of the InterGalactic Banking Clan (M) was in fact composed of representatives sent by several of the largest Muun families. This included the Hill family, to which San Hill belonged; the Tonneth family of former co-chairman Ford Tonneth; and the Damask family of Carl Damask, the co-chairman from four terms ago.

Incidentally, Carl Damask was the father of Hego Damask II, also known as Darth Pregas. He was Force-sensitive and, under arrangements made by Pregas's master, Darth Tenebrus, had a child with a Force-sensitive female Muun—Darth Pregas.

Thus, Darth Pregas was the one and only Sith Lord who had been raised as a Sith from the moment of his birth.

Back to the matter at hand: through this act of racial purification and selection, the Muuns had effectively taken a major step backward, preparing to turn the InterGalactic Banking Clan (M) entirely into a Muun enterprise and bar members of other species from interfering.

After the split caused by the Human faction led by Rush Clovis, the Muuns had become extremely wary. Not only that, they immediately enacted regulations forbidding Muuns from Scipio from participating in the affairs of the InterGalactic Banking Clan (M).

It was practically the same as disowning their own ancestral homeworld...

However, one member of the new Core Five had a rather unusual background.

He was indeed a Muun, but he had previously served as Minister of Economics on Dawn Star Planet. He called himself Semir Tang. At a glance, that name clearly seemed deeply connected to Tang Xiao, Governor of Dawn Star Planet. But there were plenty of Muuns named Semir, and Semir Tang looked like a false name no matter how one looked at it.
