Rendili Planet, Planetary Shield Control Center, Main Control Room.
Boom!! Boom!!! Massive impacts and explosions rang out beyond the metal doors. Each blast made the main control room feel as though it were being struck by a violent earthquake.
"The rebels are blowing up the door!" A Republic soldier shouted, cold sweat streaming down his forehead.
"Don't panic!! Set up our defenses!" Jedi Knight Jax Pavan remained calm in the face of danger. As he directed the soldiers to dismantle nonessential equipment in the control room and stack it into barricades, he shouted, "This place was designed with enemy attacks in mind! They won't be able to break in anytime soon!"
Boom! Another explosion sent the equipment and lights in the main control room flickering.
"Use a few grenades to make a simple detonator! If we can't hold this place, use it to blow everything up!" Jax Pavan said gravely.
"General... are we going to die?" a soldier asked quietly.
"Don't worry. I'll fight alongside you until the very end!" Jax Pavan said firmly. Looking at the expressions of the soldiers around him, he added reassuringly, "Besides, the Republic Intelligence Department knows what is at stake. Reinforcements will be here soon. Before I came here, Coruscant had already begun assembling a fleet."
