Darth Malthael piloted his shuttle directly into the space battlefield. Though the Planet Defense Fleet was in utter chaos now, the vast expanse of space remained silent and empty.
He glanced in one direction. Master Yoda's bright Force still shone brilliantly.

He had just killed Master Plo Koon. Master Yoda surely knew by now. In that state, Master Yoda was like an enraged lion—anyone who provoked him would be in for a world of hurt.
If he fought Master Yoda in that state, Darth Sidious on Coruscant would probably laugh his front teeth out. The two Sith Lords and the Jedi Order were now thoroughly sick of each other, each side wanting to wipe out the other two in one stroke.
But the Jedi Order had the numbers and the greatest overall strength, so the two Sith Lords had developed a certain tacit understanding when it came to screwing over the Jedi Order. Of course, while they were setting traps for the Jedi Order, they also conveniently set traps for each other.
