"My Lord." A Chiss general appeared in the hologram, wearing the black naval officer's uniform of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Blue-skinned and red-eyed, she cut a dashing figure.
She dropped to one knee and bowed respectfully before the Sith Lord.
This general was none other than Sefrans Tann!
The renowned foremost commander of the Confederacy of Independent Systems!
"You arrived about half a day earlier than I calculated," Darth Malthael said calmly as he looked at her.
"If I only brought one warship, I could minimize the travel time," Sefrans Tann replied.
"Are you so certain that allied fleets would still be present when you arrived in the Rendili system, rather than you walking straight into a Republic encirclement?" Darth Malthael asked.
"If that were truly the situation, then I believe our great cause would already have failed," Sefrans Tann said.
"I am pleased to see your resolve, Tann. Rendili Planet is now in your hands..." Darth Malthael said. "Destroy the incoming Galactic Republic fleet, then reopen the hyperspace routes and ensure Rendili system's external connections. The next time I come here, I do not want to see 600 billion starved corpses."
Sefrans Tann nodded. "My Lord, without my containment, the Republic fleet will soon break into the Eastern Outer Rim and advance toward the Raxus system."
"That is Count Dooku's concern. What I need is Rendili!" Darth Malthael said coldly. "Besides, Port Pament is in the Eastern Territory, and the second Ragnarok-class Titan warship, Tenebrous, should be nearing completion as well. Count Dooku will not truly be without options."
"I understand. Under my command, Rendili Planet will stand as firm as a mountain! So long as I am here, the Galactic Republic will never lay a finger on this place!" Sefrans Tann answered with a slightly smug
