The Tagge was a Commander-class Dreadnought. Although this Commander-class vessel was an aging warship and lagged far behind the increasingly common Commander II-class used by the Republic Navy, it was different. As a flagship, it had undergone extensive modifications, with reinforced communications and combat command systems, as well as comprehensive living and security facilities.
It could be said that the Tagge was practically a mobile villa estate!
For Cassio Tagge, who had the honor of commanding such an enormous fleet of more than 400 warships, naming this flagship after his own family filled him with immense pride. He believed his entire family would be honored because of it!
A fleet of 400 capital ships! Even in the history of the Galactic Republic, there were only a handful of people capable of commanding a fleet of such scale! The reason they were all capital ships was that only capital ships had hyperdrive engines large enough to reach the Modell Sector directly in a single jump through this hyperspace stabilizer.
