The battle in the outer space around Annaj Planet had now become unimaginably brutal. Not long after the fighting began, the satellite beside the planet was subjected to orbital bombardment. Its surface was almost completely destroyed, and the entire satellite had become a burning fireball, illuminating the battlefield.
The nearly 300 kilometer-scale capital ships on both sides were fighting almost madly, making this battlefield as cruel as hell.
After the battle broke out, it roughly divided into five different combat zones.
One was near the satellite, where the Republic fleet had deployed large numbers of fighters to besiege the Calamity-class battlecruiser. The second was where the Republic's main fleet carried out continuous bombardment and attacks against the Agonev-class star base.
The third and fourth areas were at Annaj Planet's north and south poles, where more than a dozen Republic warships in each direction were bombarding the Planetary Shield. Once the Planetary Shield was breached, those warships could carry out orbital bombardment of the north and south poles. Such bombardment would not need to be particularly intense to melt vast quantities of polar ice, triggering tsunamis and a massive rise in sea levels that would destroy the planet's coastal cities.
Given the Galactic Republic's industrial capacity and technological strength, dealing with a planet whose sea levels had risen was far easier than dealing with one whose entire surface had been destroyed by orbital bombardment.
After all, they planned to use Annaj Planet as a forward base for further attacks into the Core Worlds of the Duchy of Dawn.
The final battlefield, however, was also the strangest.

After its proactive counterattack in the previous round, this fleet controlled by droids and the dead still had six Knight-class Star Destroyers, all with considerable damage, and
