In the distance, Sa-Kuis was running madly with Jan Drouga's massive body in his arms, not daring to stop for even a moment. An LAAT/I assault transport descended from the sky. Before it had even fully landed, its hatch opened and Jan Drouga was brought aboard.
"Quick! Quick! Have a Bacta tank ready immediately! Start treatment at once!!" Jan Drouga's mouth was full of blood and he could not move, yet he spoke remarkably smoothly, completely unlike someone gravely injured.
"It is already prepared, my master." Sa-Kuis's body had withered considerably. Once short and stout, he had now become utterly gaunt.
Yet even though Darth Malthael had drained much of his life force, he forced himself onward and carried Jan Drouga away.
"The link cannot be maintained for long! But once it breaks, he will die immediately! Treatment must begin as soon as possible!" Jan Drouga said. "This man is extremely valuable! He cannot be allowed to die!"
The LAAT/I assault transport flew into an Acclamator-class assault ship hanging high in the sky and landed with near-violent force. On the hangar deck, a Bacta tank had already been brought over, with five medical droids standing by.
