The grand maiden voyage ceremony for the Endless-class Super Carrier concluded. As previously arranged, the captain of the first ship, the Infinite Super Carrier, was appointed as the Neimoidian general Mar-Tuuk.
On one hand, he had performed outstandingly in both the Battle of Malastare and the Battle of Rynoth, earning Tang Xiao's approval and becoming one of the few relatively dependable commanders on the Confederacy of Independent Systems' side. On the other hand, his appointment was also a gesture toward the Trade Federation.
