These phantoms were the lingering souls of the Ghost Agents Darth Lilim had summoned with her own power. Through them, she could see exactly what those Ghost Agents had been doing when they placed the signal generators.
This was a skill she had comprehended in the Valley of the Sleeping Kings on Planet Korriban, during the time Darth Malthael had thrown her in there to undergo the trial of Sith spirits.
She watched the phantoms advance cautiously, clearly wary of their surroundings. It seemed they had likely been attacked before. Following the phantoms along the way, she saw them make shooting motions several times, and the phantoms of three people vanished. They had probably died in the fighting.
"Nightsister Order?" Darth Lilim murmured to herself.
Continuing forward, she realized she no longer needed to follow those lingering souls. The ground ahead had become extremely chaotic, covered in signs of battle and bloodstains.
A fierce battle had once taken place here! And many people had died!
Darth Lilim removed the hilt of her Lightsaber and held it in her hand, but did not ignite it, lest she expose herself. She continued forward along the traces.
However, after passing through a dense stretch of jungle, the sight before her left her stunned.
This place was a slaughterhouse!
At the center of this well-hidden forest was a small clearing. The surrounding trees had all been modified, with countless treehouses built among them. The place was extremely concealed; from the air, one could see only endless jungle and nothing else.
Bloodstains were everywhere, along with small pieces of severed limbs and flesh. The treehouses around them had also been badly damaged. It was even clear that a fire had been set here!
The only strange thing was that there was not a single corpse!
