1959, Mist Clears (Part 2)
"General, this was the 412th stowaway ship this week." An intelligence officer approached Lieutenant General He Ru, commander of the Exploration Fleet, and said quietly, "Mongal-Mongal was confirmed inside the wreckage of the destroyed ship."
He Ru rubbed his forehead. "We can only keep tightening security. Other than our own ships, no vessels are to enter the Levik planet."
"This can't go on forever. Since we sealed off the stargate, Dawn Star Planet has also said it will reduce its material aid to us. The Ministry of the Interior has strong objections to these endless requests for assistance," the intelligence officer said. "And with our current garrison, we simply don't have enough manpower to blockade the entire planet. Those stowaway ships could approach from any direction..."
"How many B-1 battle droids have arrived so far? And the Geth?" He Ru asked.
"We currently have roughly three million B-1 battle droids in our hands. At the same time, we're converting the B-1 battle droid production lines inside Kriyak Palace, but that number is still far from enough. As for the Geth, they can't send too many units either. They also need to establish production lines and expand their numbers locally," the intelligence officer said.
He sighed and added, "Another reason Dawn Star Planet isn't enthusiastic about sending reinforcements is our blockade of the stargate. Any reinforcement sent to us is basically a one-way trip. Even though we've agreed to let some thoroughly inspected ships return under robot control, that carries risks on one hand and is terribly inefficient on the other. Especially since a package containing Mongal-Mongal was found in a corner of a returning Leviathan-class passenger liner the day before yesterday... Dawn Star Planet's customs officials were furious about that."
"What about the planet's surface?"
