"Partner? Who?" Shepard found that strange.
Huang Yehao and the Fourth Legion were definitely out of the question, since they needed to remain on Levik planet as a trump-card force, standing ready at all times. Other than them, who else could help?
She did not have to wait long. The door opened, and a robot with a flashlight-like head walked in.
"Geth!" Shepard was startled. Her expression instantly turned grave, and her body unconsciously shifted into a guarded stance.
She knew of the Geth. She knew that these terrifying Mechanical Lifeforms were ravaging the Northern Galaxy, committing countless massacres. How many people had died in the Geth's rampage? It was impossible to calculate. Five billion? Ten billion? No one knew.
More than that, Shepard was certain that before boarding the mothership, she must have had deeply unpleasant memories involving the Geth. So much so that when she saw a Geth before her now, her instinctive reaction was to draw her gun and fire.
Yet she still kept her emotions under control. She understood that the Duchy of Dawn and the Geth were allies, and she also knew that the Geth had come here because of Mongar-Mongar.
Even so, Shepard still felt displeased. She did not like the Geth, in any sense of the word.
But this Geth took the initiative to greet her. "Hello, Shepard. We are Legion, a collective composed of individuals sent to Levik planet to assist with the Mongar-Mongar research."
"First Umbrella, and now the Geth... Is Dawn Star Planet really not worried about Levik planet descending into chaos?" Shepard said coldly.
