She did not claim any privilege whatsoever because of her status as the Grand Duke's wife.
"Now, on nearly every planet in Chiss territory, unions have been proposed and registered across all industries. According to the statistics, a total of 1,722 union organizations have been approved." She continued, "My next plan is to have them use those unions as a foundation for asset restructuring, then establish 1,722 companies so that Chiss territory's society can continue functioning."
Tang Xiao shook his head. "If we directly turn them into companies, then we'll be going against what we promised. In truth, the major ruling families of Chiss territory are essentially massive Trusts. Their family oligarchy is, in practice, a Trust oligarchy—an embodiment of extreme capitalism. Since we have mobilized the people to fight them, we must ultimately distribute the assets controlled by those oligarchs. Otherwise, the power we used will eventually turn against us."
Each ruling family in Chiss territory represented and controlled its own sphere. If blood ties were set aside, they were essentially Trusts monopolizing individual industries. Moreover, ruling families were not bound entirely by blood; they also had a system of "adoption" to absorb exceptional talent.
For example, Thrawn had originally been born into the Myss family, but was later adopted by the Nuruodo family and became a member of that group.
