Duchy of Dawn, Modell Sector, Vaxian Planet.

In the planet's outer orbit, an incomparably enormous hexagonal metal plate floated steadily amid the bustling expanse of space, towed by six Hell-Angel Class Battlecruisers.

This hexagonal metal plate was so enormous that each of its sides measured a thousand kilometers long! Nor was it perfectly flat. Countless regularly arranged lines and patterns covered its surface, along with innumerable slots for mounting additional equipment.

It was an industrial miracle in itself. Simply being placed here made people feel humanity's insignificance and the greatness of industry.

At the very center of the metal plate, an enormous plaza covering at least one square kilometer had already been constructed. The plaza was covered by a vast glass dome, and its interior had been decorated with incomparable beauty and luxury. Hundreds of thousands of spectators filled the space, craning their necks toward the central stage.

Countless drones flew through the air, filming continuously from different angles and transmitting the footage back for a live broadcast to every citizen of the Duchy of Dawn.

Soon, the appointed time arrived.

A gigantic warship shaped like the character for "river" flew past first. Following behind it were two Divinity-class battleships, then dozens of Hell-Angel-class battlecruisers, along with hundreds of other small and medium-sized warships of every type!

Finally, four formations of fighters swept over the stage at high speed: Wraith fighters, Broadsword fighters, Saber fighters, and Viking fighters. These were the four main fighter types currently in service with the Duchy of Dawn! Ultra-high-pressure spray devices had been installed behind the four fighter formations, releasing clouds of multicolored smoke when activated.

The colored smoke slowly spread farther and farther, yet it did not dissipate, because this was the vacuum of space, where no other matter existed.
