Priestess walked over and peered through the vent on the warehouse door. To her astonishment, the warehouse was packed with battle droids! These B-1 battle droids and B-2 super battle droids were all powered down, squatting on the ground with their arms around their knees and their heads tucked into their chests, utterly motionless.
"This probably isn't where the battle droids are normally stationed," Priestess said. "It looks like someone controlled them to come here, then shut them all down so they wouldn't get in the way."
Just then, a sudden change erupted! The droids' electronic eyes all lit up with red light at once! Then every droid rose from the ground in perfect unison, rotated their arms one hundred and eighty degrees, and took E-5 Blaster rifles from their backs!
At the same time, the warehouse doors began to slowly open!
Before the doors had even opened, a dense barrage of Blaster Beams came flying at them. Most struck the doors, but a few shot through the gaps.
"Move! Don't get bogged down! There are too many droids!" Fenix made an immediate decision and picked up the pace.
At that moment, large numbers of battle droids emerged from many of the surrounding buildings. These droids clearly regarded all of them as enemies, firing a dense barrage of Blaster Beams their way.
What was more, dozens of droids curled into balls rolled down the broad roadway toward them. They then unfolded, activated their energy shields, and unleashed frantic fire from their twin-linked blaster cannons—it was Destroyer droids!
The three of them were extremely fast. Rather than follow the main road, they darted straight into the buildings.
