I've finally fixed it-let me tell you about this colossal screwup that was an absolute train wreck

Actually, it had been pretty simple... Recently, my wife took me to see a traditional Chinese doctor and get some Sanfu patches or something. The doctor said my coldness and dampness were severe, prescribed some herbal medicine, and warned me not to drink beer. If I absolutely had to drink, then liquor was okay.

In the end, I didn't take in anything else. All I heard was "liquor."

Then last Thursday, there was a company dinner. I'd solved several difficult project issues lately, so I was in a good mood. Following my wife's and the doctor's instructions, I didn't drink beer and drank liquor instead... Then, damn it, I got completely wasted. I drank nearly a pound... I had no idea how I got home that day.

When I woke up, it was already past three in the morning. I was completely out of it. Out of habit, I opened Author Assistant and found a ton of comments asking what the hell I'd posted. At seven-thirty in the morning, a phone call woke me up and told me to go to the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau for a meeting at eight-thirty... Fuck, I was practically dying and they still wanted me in a meeting... So I went. My reactions were visibly slow, and I could barely get my tongue to work. Fortunately, the matter being discussed didn't require me to speak...

The meeting ended around eleven, and I was done for. I took leave and went home.
