Hearing the old man's account, Vishal sighed. "We can't place our hopes on a legend that's half true and half false."
Shepard frowned as she looked at the old man before her. After a long while, she raised her wrist and activated her Omni-tool to examine the star map. "The Rafa system... It's too remote, and even farther from the Unknown Regions."
"What, you still want to go take a look? Hahahaha... Forget it. The Crakull planet is a cage—a cage no one can ever escape from... Hahahahaha!" The old man burst into loud laughter.
Huang Yehao scratched his head. "Old man, are you crazy? Whatever else, you know about the Mind-harp. That means there's still a sliver of hope, doesn't it?"
But the old man shook his head. "Impossible. The Mind-harp can never be activated. Because... the conditions for activating it can only be found in the Rafa system! Hahahaha! But now, look at the Crakull planet! It's already heading toward death. This so-called civil war is nothing more than one final frenzy before death! Hahahahaha!"
"The Rafa system...?" Shepard fell into thought.
After everyone left the old man's home, Huang Yehao said, "Let's report the situation here to headquarters. At least one thing that old man said was right—the Crakull planet may truly not have much time left. Given the state of their society, it wouldn't be surprising if they died out within a few years."
"But we've already lost contact with headquarters." Shepard shook her head. "If we retrace our route, the Normandy's hyperdrive probably won't hold out.
