General Trench finally launched his counterattack!
Ten Hell-Angel Class Battlecruisers charged straight at the Galactic Empire fleet with utter disregard for reason. Relying on their sturdy, heavy armor reinforced with electrothermal plating, they drew immense amounts of fire. Under the command of their captains, they turned broadside and fired their high-energy gamma-ray emitters furiously.
The Kohl-class Battlecruisers served as the backbone of the fleet, standing firm like pillars holding back the tide. Their Hypermatter Railguns had a relatively slow rate of fire, but their conventional firepower remained formidable. Although the conventional weapons of the Kohl-class Battlecruisers could no longer shake Imperial-class Star Destroyers, they were still highly effective against the Victory II-class Star Destroyers at the rear of the Imperial fleet formation.
The Martha-class missile heavy cruisers launched volley after volley of missiles. Each salvo of Fire Cloud series missiles produced vast clouds of deadly radiation. Even Star Destroyers would see their main armor belts corroded if they remained within those radiation clouds for too long!
Naturally, the greatest threat came from the Calamity-class battlecruisers. These warships had removed their original weapon systems and installed Particle Beam Lances instead, giving them terrifying destructive power!
If a Victory II-class Star Destroyer took a Particle Beam Lance head-on, one shot would basically break its shields, and two would finish it off, leaving it no chance at all.
This elite fleet was also the only trump card in General Trench's hand, the only force capable of confronting Imperial-class Star Destroyers head-on.
"All forces, charge!" General Trench clenched all six fists tightly and let out a rare, furious roar.
