In reality, chaos had broken out far beyond that single V-150 Planet Defender cannon base. Countless military bases and cities across Kira planet had seen the emergence of such monsters.
These monsters appeared without warning and seemed to follow no pattern. All of a sudden, people would scream and collapse to the ground, then begin mutating uncontrollably, transforming into terrifying monsters within minutes.
Moreover, the mutated monsters were all different. It seemed that depending on the individual traits of the person mutating, the resulting monster would display different characteristics.
For example, one man whose legs had been disabled suddenly mutated and grew five legs, each over two meters long and with four knee joints!
These monsters kept appearing, carrying out massacres in the cities and causing chaos in military bases. More than a dozen monsters even appeared at an Energy Center. Their rampant destruction sparked a massive fire, cutting off power to several surrounding cities and disabling the anti-air fire positions inside.
For a time, the ground combat headquarters on Kira planet was inundated with pleas for help. Monsters were appearing everywhere, and they showed signs of spreading.
After analysis, the headquarters discovered that the monsters' appearance did indeed follow a pattern: they began at the Duchy of Dawn's landing sites and spread outward. The closer an area was to a landing site, the earlier the monsters appeared; the farther away it was, the later they emerged.
However, judging by the rate of spread, it would take no more than three days for these terrifying monsters to appear across all of Kira planet!
The planetary commander immediately concluded that this might be the Duchy of Dawn's T-Virus biological weapon, but he found no signs of infectious transmission. Those killed by the monsters did not turn
