With the situation in such utter chaos, the Imperial military was bound to have its attention stretched thin. Governor Octavian Grant and Admiral Gideon Tarkin could only watch helplessly as the stargate the Kingdom of Dawn was building on Fondor Planet gradually took shape.
The Kingdom of Dawn appeared to have used vast quantities of prefabricated components and shipped them directly over. To that end, they had dispatched a small fleet to continually clear the hyperspace route from Yag'Dhul to Fondor Planet, preventing interception by the Galactic Empire fleet.
Though the Imperial fleet currently had no ability to intercept them anyway.
As a result, in just over a week, the stargate being built beside Planet Three in the Fondor System had already begun to take shape!!
The construction speed horrified Octavian Grant. If stargates could be built this quickly, then the Kingdom of Dawn could establish a complete stargate network in a very short time. By that logic, the Kingdom of Dawn itself was likely already completely covered by a stargate network!
It was simply terrifying!
Yet the garrison on Fondor Planet did not dare take the initiative and destroy the stargate, because they had no chance of defeating the Kingdom of Dawn's powerful fleet.
However, something soon happened that left Octavian Grant even more conflicted.
On August 34, Admiral Sefrans Tann abruptly changed course. She directly took away two-thirds of the fleet attacking Fondor Planet. This massive fleet turned around, activated its hyperdrives, and simply left!
Sefrans Tann took the Taowu Titan warship, every Divinity-class battleship, seven Consul-class aircraft carriers, and most of the capital ships with her.
Only more than 300 capital ships led by the Xuanwu Titan warship, along with over 2,000 medium and small warships, remained stationed at Planet Three in the Fondor System. General Ling
