At everyone's request, starting today, I'll be summarizing the Fourth Civilization's major armaments and posting them in the chapter notes in this format, free of charge.
1. Blade-class fighter/Arrow-class Scout
From "Homeworld 1," these were two fighter designs that came standard with the Mothership, and they were severely outdated. The Blade-class fighter was 7.4 meters long, while the Arrow-class Scout was 9.5 meters long. Both were equipped with two six-barreled Electromagnetic Cannons, later modified to carry red lasers. These two fighters were completely behind the times and stood no chance whatsoever against the spacecraft currently found in the "Star Wars" universe.
Only a few hundred Blade-class fighters were produced before they were quickly phased out. Later, after being fitted with blue laser weapons, they gained at least some combat capability, so Yuri Orlov put them on the black market in exchange for funds needed for development. These fighters could no longer be seen anywhere in the Milky Way Galaxy.
2. Wraith fighter
From "StarCraft 1," the CF/A-17 Wraith fighter was the Fourth Civilization's second fighter model. Its size was increased to accommodate versatile space combat, measuring 10.4 meters long and 14 meters high including the lower fins. It also had an elite version, which was larger and possessed greater firepower and maneuverability.
It was equipped with a cloaking system, and its primary weapons were three Pulse Laser cannons and Gemini multirole missiles. It was also the Fourth Civilization's second-produced fighter and the fighter manufactured in the greatest numbers.
The Wraith fighter's performance was exceptionally good, and its versatility was excellent as well. Even now, the Fourth Civilization continued producing it, and it had gone through eight upgraded variants from Type-A to Type-G.
