The Battle of Selsvis (Part 2)
The Aeria Drone Hosts were launching their Holy Spirit Bombers.
This drone carrier's method of launching aircraft was somewhat unusual. First, the hatch on the "wheel" at the front opened, then all the bombers slid out of the hangar and were locked onto circular rails. There were two rails in total, each carrying thirty bombers.
The rails then began rotating with the bombers, faster and faster. Once they reached the critical point, the first bomber was flung out directly, shooting accurately through the launch hatch at maximum speed!
Then came the second, the third! In just five minutes, the first batch of sixty bombers had all taken off. Another sixty bombers were then mounted onto the circular acceleration rails, beginning the launch process once more.
This method could accelerate dozens of carrier-based aircraft at once and launch them all in a short period of time. It had to be said that it was an ingenious concept and an even more advanced technology.
The two Aeria Drone Hosts launched a total of 240 bombers, which flew straight toward the Imperial fleet at astonishing speed—completely unlike the speed of ordinary bombers!
Meanwhile, Lin Nanyi's fleet merely gathered cautiously around the two drone carriers, protecting them while firing at the Imperial fleet from long range. They showed no intention whatsoever of pushing forward to fight alongside the bombers.
This was the battle plan they had arrived at after consulting with the priests of the Holy Advent Cult.
According to Admiral Qiyala, who had fought this Imperial fleet before, its anti-aircraft warships had already been almost completely wiped out. Among the remaining vessels, neither Imperial-class Star Destroyers nor Vigil-class corvettes possessed powerful anti-air firepower.
Furthermore, the fleet was already battered and in terrible condition. With the exceptional performance
