"These places have been completely overrun by monsters!" One Inquisitor swung his Lightsaber as well, cutting the dozen or so monsters pursuing them from behind in two.
"Shut your mouth! Don't get distracted! Do these little monsters need Lord Hydra to deal with them personally?" another, tallest Inquisitor roared.
The several Inquisitors immediately fell silent. The four of them took up positions at the corners, protecting Hydra in the middle. The terrifying monsters on the battlefield required more than a dozen blaster bolts to kill, yet before their blood-red Lightsabers, they were sliced apart like tofu.
More and more mutated monsters appeared. They must have learned the Inquisitors' location. However, the five of them moved swiftly, darting through the factory district that had been completely corrupted and assimilated. The lumbering mutated monsters were quickly left far behind.
After circling around the factory district and shaking off the monsters pursuing and blocking them, they found themselves in front of a power station. The moment they arrived, they immediately felt the air around them turn hot and humid. There also seemed to be particulate viral spores floating in the air.
These spores, which could survive only a very short time in the air, could not remain away from the main body for long.
Looking into the distance, they saw that the power station's core area had been filled with countless mutated cavities. Tentacles emerged everywhere from the ground and walls, alongside constantly writhing fleshy tubes. Even more astonishingly, large numbers of plants had begun growing where the metal floors and walls had been pierced!
The plants came in countless varieties, seemingly of every kind imaginable. Yet they all had one thing in common: their branches and leaves were lush and dense. In the hot, humid air, droplets of dew even clung to
