To judge whether she was a genius, one first had to understand what kind of place the Chiss Naval Academy was. Calling it a miraculous place that produced renowned commanders in abundance would not be an exaggeration at all.

Moreover, the Unknown Regions were extraordinarily complex, making them a breeding ground for space pirates everywhere. Pirate races such as the Vagari had long harassed nearly every Chiss trade route. Thus, the Chiss were not merely expanding outward; war also raged constantly within their own territory.
Only the Chiss Naval Academy, born from such baptism by fire, could become such a legendary institution. Thousands, even tens of thousands of years of uninterrupted combat experience had produced countless extraordinary commanders of the age.
So within such a legendary academy, not just anyone could be like Sefrans Tann—slaughtering her way through the Chiss Naval Academy, permanently occupying first place, and even defeating the instructors in simulated battles.
