General Grievous's fighter lurched into Targon Planet's atmosphere, then flew straight toward the royal palace in the planetary capital.

The place was easy enough to find. Even without scanners, the largest cluster of cities was clearly the capital, and the most luxurious building at its center was the royal palace.

The Targonian king—Klaw the Eternal—was anxiously awaiting a response from The Eye of Palpatine in his gold-plated palace, his heart practically pounding out of his chest.

With a thunderous crash, a battered fighter smashed inside. Its fuselage was riddled with damage, belching thick smoke and constantly spitting electric sparks. It skidded across the floor for a long distance, tearing away all the ornate golden decorations before finally slamming into a pillar and coming to a stop.

Klaw the Eternal trembled all over, hiding beneath his throne without even daring to raise his head. His guards had been scattered when the fighter crashed in, and now they only dared stand far away, utterly unwilling to approach.

The cockpit hatch opened, and a tall, burly figure stepped out.

Beneath that tattered cloak, riddled with burned-through holes, the first thing everyone saw was a pair of blood-red vertical pupils! The terrifying killing intent instantly shattered their courage. The guards' hands trembled as they held their weapons; they did not even have the nerve to pull the triggers.

General Grievous swept his vicious gaze across the people around him and growled, "Get out!"

Seeing that mechanical body, scorched and damaged all over and stained with blood of every color, along with those three terrifying mechanical arms—and most terrifying of all, the blood-red Lightsaber in one of its hands—the guards had no idea who started it, but they screamed, threw down their weapons, and fled in panic.
