2647, A Hasty End
Darth Malthael's true body was at that moment inside the stasis chamber aboard the Red Comet. The fighter had been hidden beneath a section of superstructure and had not been affected.
However, Darth Sidious's Force Storm was everywhere. "Son" had no choice but to return and protect the true body.
This meant that "son's" immense power was effectively bound there, unable to be unleashed at all. Darth Sidious would stand invincible.
Yet in the end, he had failed to judge just how terrifying "son's" power truly was! Standing before the Red Comet, he actually withstood the Force Storm's assault with his own body!
Boom!!! A Turbolaser cannon aboard an Imperial-class Star Destroyer fired directly at "son," but the scarlet glow in his crimson eyes flared brilliantly! He suddenly raised a hand, and the Turbolaser beam froze in midair!
The other warships were also firing and bombarding him. Amid the fierce flames, explosions, and laser fire, the resulting light pollution was so intense that neither sight nor instruments could determine what was happening within. They could only keep firing on instinct.
One Turbolaser beam after another came flying over, yet all of them were held in place by "son's" terrifying Force power. Turbolaser beams normally appeared as slender shafts of light after firing, but now, frozen in place, they looked like clusters of glowing spheres.
Then "son" slowly brought his hands together. The immense energy of dozens of Turbolaser beams strained even him, yet his hands remained steady. Under his incomparably powerful strength, those Turbolaser beams were slowly compressed together, converging into an extremely unstable sphere of light!
The energy contained within that sphere was horrifying beyond measure, yet "son" held it suspended in the air, and then...
