On the Kingdom of Dawn's side, sensing the Dark Side Force was nothing unusual. The Kingdom of Dawn's leader, Tang Xiao, was himself an immensely powerful Dark Side Force user, a Sith Lord. Therefore, having large numbers of Dark Side Force sensitive under his command was perfectly normal.
Carl Kestis could often sense faint Dark Side auras. However, by the standards of the Jedi Order he had once belonged to, those auras were completely inadequate. These were probably the legendary Force-sensitive individuals. There were many of them, all hidden in the shadows. Without question, they belonged to the military or intelligence agencies.
In comparison, the auras of Force-sensitive individuals were less common, though not nonexistent. As far as Carl Kestis knew, at least one Dark Side Force-sensitive often appeared in the capital of Annaj Planet. However, that presence frequently lurked around City Hall, and Carl had never seen him.
During all his years living in the Kingdom of Dawn, Carl Kestis had often meditated in secret and trained through his own explorations. At the very least, he believed his ability to conceal his Force aura was more than adequate. In any case, he had never been caught so far.
But now, the aura of the Dark Side was inside Sunny Recycling Company's offices?
Carl Kestis frowned. For a moment, he did not dare go upstairs. But after waiting for a while, he discovered that the Dark Side aura was extremely faint and completely motionless, as though it were dead...
No... it was not dead! That aura was still alive! Though it had not moved and was incredibly faint, it was not the aura of an object!
