The closer they got to the enormous nest, the more they could feel its immense size—hundreds of meters tall, dozens of kilometers in circumference, and with clear pulses constantly rising from the ground, as though the entire land itself were breathing.

Vein-like tissue throbbed beneath their feet, while dark-purple fleshy membranes opened and closed in rhythm. The pulses grew faster and stronger, until even the Protoss Zealot warriors running across them were bounced into the air by the violent pounding.

Everyone had no choice but to stop, crouch down, and grip the ground tightly to keep from being bounced away like balls.

Then they saw the massive nest continuously contracting and twitching like a gigantic chrysanthemum, followed by a deafening boom. Countless jets of pale-green pus shot into the sky, and an immeasurable swarm of insects erupted from within!

An incomparably powerful shockwave followed! Even from several kilometers away, they were nearly blown off their feet. It showed just how tremendous the kinetic force of that eruption was; even the surrounding air had become scorching hot from the intense friction.

The countless insects rode that terrifying force straight into the sky, breaking through the atmosphere and charging directly into outer space!

Clearly, the Kilik Swarm inside Lago Planet numbered far more than the few million detected in the previous scans. In the distance, visible to the naked eye, other enormous nests could be seen launching insect swarms into the sky as well.

The nest before them continued erupting for at least five minutes, spewing out an unknown number of insects before finally quieting down. Now, the entire nest seemed to have withered, visibly softening and shrinking in height.
