Edra Kestis opened her eyes. Her cheeks felt damp. She casually wiped them and looked at her palm, only to find it covered in colorless, transparent liquid. More tears then flowed uncontrollably from the corners of her eyes.

She frowned and thought back on what had happened before, but her memories were somewhat hazy. She seemed to have been furious over the death of Joel Drakas, the Jedi Knight commander sent to reinforce the Alaris satellite, but she could not remember what happened afterward.

Perhaps her Force had gone out of control... And she seemed to have had a dream, but no matter what, she could not recall its contents.

Looking around, she found that she was apparently still aboard the Revelation-class light cruiser serving as the flagship.

She went into the bathroom in her quarters, removed her clothes, and let the icy water wash over her smooth, delicate skin, like blue satin. Looking down at the ferocious spider embedded in her chest and the white Kyber Crystal at its center, she could not tell whether it was an illusion, but she seemed to see a streak of golden light flash through the Kyber Crystal.

Facing the mirror, Edra Kestis looked at the breathtakingly beautiful blue-skinned woman reflected within. Slowly wiping the droplets from her body, her expression was incomparably cold.

After getting dressed again, she left her quarters and made her way to the bridge.

There, she found Sefrans Tann dressed in her white general's uniform, seated with her hands clasped as she looked at the holographic projection before her.

A tall, imposing robot stood there, wearing a metal mask shaped like a beast's skull. Beneath the mask, a pair of beastlike eyes radiated fierce malice.
